Opal Creek National Park, Oregon
Growing up my family and I would often go to Opal Creek Wilderness forest to hike and enjoy the outdoors. Each time we began our hike, we would cross over a bridge that took us over the river famous for it's opal color.
Each time we got to the bridge I would look down and contemplate climbing down for a quick swim but the canyon-like walls surrounding the river kept me and others from doing so.
Recently I decided to brave the trek down underneath the bridge. Camera in hand I slide down the side of the walls praying I could make my way up again. Once I made it below, I waded out until I was waist deep in water and had a better view of the falls.
This image is a 4 shot panorama I ended up breaking a tripod to get. Hope you enjoy!
